Innkeepers: Cheryl and Tony Curinga

We are a family run business. We enjoy working together and adding our own personal touch to our inn.
Working as a team provides a harmonious atmosphere assuring your comfort and pleasure.

The Innkeepers have  2 Hypoallergenic, Miniature Poodles. (Ted E.) Bear is apricot and Coco is brown and black.
Our animals are very friendly and are not in guest rooms.  They are allowed in all common areas, backyard and porch.

Tony is a Dentist. He grew up in Verplanck NY, went to college at St. Francis in Loretta PA, then Columbia Dental School.  He graduated Columbia in 1966, then went into the Army for more advanced dental training. He was a captain and post dental surgeon and ran a dental unit in Germany before planting roots and starting a Dental Practice near his hometown in Montrose NY in 1973.   Anthony J. Curinga DDS, PC was sold in July 2009 and is now Montrose Dental Associates. Tony is an active member of The ADA, New York Academy of Dentistry (Past President), Academy of General Dentistry, Ninth District Dental Society, Peekskill/Yorktown Dental Society (Past President).  He serves on the Ninth District Peer Review committee, is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Dental School and a Ethics Facilitator.

     Cheryl started her Dental Career as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1979.  She is a Dental Hygienist and graduate of Orange County College 1989.  Has a license in Dental Anesthesia from NYU.  She has taught Dental Assisting at the Ninth District Dental Society and has also been a Columbia Ethics Facilitator from 1993 to 2010. Cheryl has a current NJ RDH license.  Cheryl joined Tonys dental practice in 1985 and we have been working together ever since.          March to June 2011, coved a maternity leave for Dr. David Cho, Parkertown Dental, NJ.  After our busy season, will temp in other offices. 

     In December 2009 we purchased, moved into and renovated the Magnolia House.  Late May 2010 we started to host guest and we love it!

Winter 2011 We renovated and redecorated guest rooms numbers three and six.  We are so happy with the new look and are sure you will be also!

"Maggie" is a constant work in progress. Painted porch, wicker and floor of beach room this spring. We Renovated two guest rooms this winter.  Number three now has a carribean cherry floor, cream walls, floral rug, maroon accents and a hand crocheted bedspread.  Room Six: we custom made a window seat, painted walls cream, Added new rugs, changed bed position. It gets the best afternoon sun.   Added a rain shower head to rooms 2 and 3 bath rooms.  Cleaning, dusting and polishing are constant, daily events, year round!  =)

    We have a 32" Flat Screen TV with DVD to our library. Santa 2010 brought a Wii to the Magnolia House B&B for everyones enjoyment! Three 19" flat panel TVs were added to rooms 2,3 & 7.   Also added two electric fire glow stoves to rooms 2 & 11.  Now five rooms have this added winter ambiance!  We also now have  a Wii Fit in the library. So far we have Sport, Sports resort, Shape Up and Summer  Dance Party.  =)   New Cold water cooler in Dining Room to fill your water bottles and glasses. Go Green! =)
